Beautifull Place 'Mount Bromo' In Indonesia

Mount Bromo, located in the East Java Province of Indonesia, is an active volcano with a vast desert panorama around it. The view from the foot of the mountain alone is amazing, especially if you can climb all the way to the top. From this point, you can see the beautiful panorama of the island of Java.

This mountain has a height of 2,329 meters above sea level and is located in four districts, namely Probolinggo Regency, Pasuruan Regency, Lumajang Regency, and Malang Regency.. Mount Bromo becomes interesting because of its status as an active volcano.

To visit Bromo Tengger National Park located in East Java, there are two options: via Malang City or via Surabaya. If you are interested in exploring the iconic city of Surabaya, you can still go to Bromo from that city.

Even so, Malang is an ideal starting point for visiting Mount Bromo, as it is closer than Surabaya. If you only plan to visit Mount Bromo during the holidays, or intend to travel to other tourist destinations around Malang such as Batu city, it would be better if you directly buy a train or plane ticket to Malang city.

To visit Mount Bromo from Surabaya or Malang, the best way is to use Bromo tour packages, both private tours and Bromo open trips.

Through the tour package, you just have to go to the meeting point you choose for pickup, then you will be escorted directly to Bromo. No need to think about renting transportation such as jeeps and entrance tickets to Bromo Crater.

But if you want to go alone, no problem either. But please note that going without a Bromo tour package will be quite inconvenient and may cost more, especially if you want to book a car/jeep rental yourself to Bromo.

If you are from the city of Surabaya, the way to go to Mount Bromo is to take a bus to Jember or Banyuwangi from Bungurasih Terminal, then ask to be dropped off at Probolinggo. From Probolinggo Terminal, you can continue your journey by looking for transportation to Cemoro Lawang Village, the closest village to Mount Bromo. From there, you need to look for a hardtop jeep rental or motorcycle taxi that will take you through the desert to the parking lot of Mount Bromo.

Meanwhile, if you are from the city of Malang, look for transportation that takes you to Pasar Tumpang. If you have trouble, you can go first to Arjosari Terminal by public transportation, from there then continue the journey to Tumpang Market using other public transportation. Then from Pasar Tumpang, you can rent a jeep to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area.
