Unfortunately, the daughter of Roro Jonggrang did not love Bandung Bondowoso, there was a one-sided love. With great confidence, Bandung Bondowoso even dared to accept the challenge that was put forward by Roro Jonggrang, with his supernatural powers and assisted by reinforcements from the jinn, finally Bandung Bondowoso almost completed the conditions proposed by Roro Jonggrang.

Seeing this, Roro Jonggrang panicked and looked for a way so that Bandung Bondowoso failed to complete 1,000 temples. The princess also woke up her concubines to pound the mortar and wake the rooster to crow and burn the fire in the east to make it look like it was morning. Sure enough, Bandung Bondowoso's efforts to make temples had reached 999 temples, only 1 temple left.

Bandung Bondowoso was shocked and found out what was really going on, not long after that Bandung Bondowoso found out that he had been cheated by Roro Jonggang.
